Out! Cairns

The monthly Out! nights were established by a group of volunteers who wanted to put on regular events and dance parties for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in Tropical North Queensland.

The parties usually take place on the first Saturday of every month from 9pm til late at The Heritage Nightclub, cnr Lake & Spence Sts.

There is usually a theme for each event, with great prizes to be won for the most fabulous person or couple - for getting into the theme or making some serious moves like Jagger on the floor!

Entertainment varies at each party with a wealth of talented drag and cabaret performers.

Resident DJ Been and guest DJs play a mix of camp classics, current vocal house and electro, and pop and R'n'B remixes and to keep the crowd moving.
